Apple will reportedly unveil its long-rumoured 12-inch MacBook Air with Retina display at next week's event.
The Apple Watch is expected to be the highlight of Apple's Spring Forward event in San Francisco on March 9, but the new laptop will also be launched, according to The Michael Report.
Previous reports suggest that the next Macbook Air will be the slimmest laptop Apple has ever released, with a fanless design and a 12-inch screen.
Its ultra-slim form factor is said to be the result of the removal of all connector ports except the headphone jack and a reversible USB Type-C input.
Apple CEO Tim Cook recently announced that the Apple Watch is due to ship in April, but launch dates for specific territories could be confirmed at the event.
