Toshiba has announced, it is entering the Chromebook market with a 13.3-inch model.
The Tokyo-based company joins the ever-growing Google Chrome OS system, with a device to rival current offerings from Samsung, HP and Acer.
Toshiba's Chromebook will feature a 1366 x 768 display and weigh 3.3 pounds.
The machine is on show at CES 2014 and will retail at $279 (£170) with an Intel Haswell processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
Toshiba also claims it's Chromebook battery is able to last a maximum of nine hours.
The device will go on sale from February 16.
