Skype has rolled out a major update for its iOS app, introducing new features including two-way HD video chat.
This service is accessible on any device sporting an A7 processor, such as iPhone 5S, iPad Air, and iPad Mini with Retina.
Other improvements include faster syncing across all devices, and the ability to receive messages when Skype is closed.
Skype made the headlines early this month when its website and Twitter account were hacked by a group claiming to be the Syrian Electronic Army.
Platform holder Microsoft moved quickly to assure users that no personal data was breached during the cyber attack.
Skype is available to download for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices for free via the App Store.
