Apple's iWatch Battling With Screen And Battery Problems

Battery and screen problems are reportedly a few of the issues holding up Apple’s iWatch according to the latest reports.

The development of the Apple’s much rumoured smartwatch is further behind than previous rumours suggested.

Going into more detail, the website reports that Apple has not settled on the screen technology it will use. Concerns about the impact on battery life is apparently the reason behind the delay.

Poor battery life is one of the main points of criticism, with most of the smartwatches currently on the market.

Another problem that has impacted the development of the iWatch is the loss of Engineer Bryan James. James was reportedly working on the iWatch, but recently left Apple to move to Nest Labs.

The devices in question were reportedly very close to being put to market. Earlier reports suggested that Apple was even in discussions with LG and RiTDisplay to supply OLED screens for the device.

It is currently unclear how far away Apple’s iWatch is from being ready to be unveiled. However, the iWatch will still appear this year.
