Samsung Unveils 110-inch UHDTV

Samsung has said it will launch the world’s largest ultra-high-definition television a week today.

The 110-inch UHDTV will be shown off at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next week. It will also go on sale in China, the Middle East and selected European countries on January 6th.
Samsung has not yet confirmed whether or not the UK will be among those selected European countries. Nor has it confirmed the price of the set.
The television is the successor to the 85-inch model shown off at 2013's Consumer Electronics Show. That TV currently retails for around £25,000 so we’re expecting it to be breaking the £30,000 mark at the very least.
Few details about the television set have been announced yet. However, the company has confirmed that size wise, it is 2.6 meters wide and 1.8 meters height, certainly not something that is going to fit in the average sized living room – well, so long as you don’t want your partner to kick you out.

Samsung has said that the television set will go on wider sales after nine weeks.
