Samsung Galaxy S5 to feature diamond-like coating?

People eagerly check out the Galaxy S4 after its launch at Radio City Music Hall

Samsung unannounced Galaxy S5 smartphone will reportedly feature casing made from diamond-like materials.

The South Korean company is experimenting with "diamond metal surface treatment" technology by blasting carbon at high temperatures.
Should the trials prove successful, the company's next flagship handset could launch with a damage-resistant chassis.

Samsung's Galaxy handsets traditionally feature polycarbonate casing, but that is expected to change with the Galaxy S5, with previous reports suggesting it could be made of metal.

The Galaxy S5 has been tipped to feature a 5-inch screen, a 64-bit processor, a 16-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM and a 4000mAh battery.
