The troubled Canadian smartphone maker wrote in it's earnings report, that it had “made the decision to cancel plans to launch two devices to mitigate the identified inventory risk”.

lackBerry released it's earnings report on Friday. However, the information was buried deep within the report and was only found by the Wall Street Journal on Monday.
According to the report, the two smartphones that won’t be making it to market were code named "CafĂ©" and "Kopi" Neither phone was expected to be released in the US or Europe.
Instead, they are believed to have been bound for developing markets.
The Company did not elaborate on what the identified risk was. However, it is likely that the company may now seek to sell some of it's unshipped stock in those markets at a lower price.
BlackBerry also revealed on Friday that it would not be hosting it's annual BlackBerry Live event in 2014. Instead, the company said it would focus on “smaller, targeted events” around the world over the next 12 months.
